Europe Day takes place each year on the 9th of May and celebrates peace and unity in Europe, recognising the EU’s achievements and looking to the future. It marks the anniversary of the ‘Schuman declaration’, the beginning of what is now the European Union. Europe Day is not only a reminder of our shared history and common goals but also a celebration of what we can achieve together, from advancing science and health to driving innovation and sustainability.

In EU-funded research projects like the ENDOTARGET EU Project, collaboration between countries, institutions, and disciplines plays a key role in tackling some of the most pressing health challenges of our time. It is proof of how European collaboration strengthens research, accelerates solutions and promotes a healthier, more connected future.
