ENDOTARGET at the 8th ICRS Summit 2026 in Porto

🦴🔬 From the 8th to the 10th of October, the ENDOTARGET EU Project joined the ICRS – International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society at the 8th ICRS Summit in Porto, Portugal. The meeting brought together scientists, clinicians, and innovators to exchange knowledge on joint preservation, cartilage regeneration, and regenerative medicine.

Representatives from HUS Helsingin yliopistollinen sairaala and ETH Zurich attended on behalf of ENDOTARGET.

🎤 A highlight was the oral presentation by Shipin Zhang: “Metabolic endotoxemia induces sex-specific temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis via leptin signalling in rats.”

The presentation closely reflects ENDOTARGET’s research focus on understanding how metabolic endotoxemia and chronic systemic inflammation may contribute to osteoarthritis and other rheumatic diseases.

🤝 ICRS 2026 offered an excellent opportunity to share ENDOTARGET research, exchange perspectives with the international community, and strengthen connections across disciplines.
