Patient safety from the start 🧡

Every child deserves safe and high-quality care, from the very first breath. Yet newborns and children remain particularly vulnerable to harm from unsafe care.

This  World Patient Safety Day, we join the global call led by the World Health Organization to eliminate avoidable harm in paediatric and neonatal healthcare. At the ENDOTARGET EU Project, we believe that safety must be embedded from the start, in every diagnosis, every treatment, and every system.

 

👉 Let’s raise awareness of safety risks in child and newborn care.

👉 Let’s empower parents, caregivers, and children to be part of safer care.

👉 Let’s call on governments, institutions, and civil society to take meaningful action.

 

From safe childbirth to effective medication practices, from health worker safety to diagnostic accuracy. We all have a role to play in making healthcare safer for the youngest among us. 👶🏽👧🏼👦🏾
