‼️Unaffordable health costs? We’re sick of it ‼️

🩺🌍This is the 2025 theme of the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day – December 12, 2025

For hundreds of millions of people, access to healthcare remains out of reach, especially for those already struggling with basic needs like food, education, or housing. This is unacceptable ‼️

On UHC Day, we raise our voices to demand tangible action:

✅ Make UHC, inclusive of financial protection, a national priority

✅ Adopt and implement laws to protect people from unaffordable health costs

✅ Budget for an affordable package of essential health services

✅ Strengthen publicly funded health schemes to cover costs for the entire population

✅ Eliminate health costs for those most in need

✅ Make everyone’s voice count when shaping our health systems

This UHC Day, we’re holding leaders to account and reminding them to prioritise health as a foundation for sustainable development.

💪 At the ENDOTARGET EU Project, we believe that health is a human right. Our EU-funded research focuses on improving care for people with rheumatic diseases by exploring the role of gut microbiota and systemic inflammation. We advocate for affordable, personalised medicine that reaches everyone, not just those who can afford it.
