7th ENDOTARGET Consortium Meeting

🇦🇹🔬 On the 7th to 8th of May, ENDOTARGET EU Project partners gathered in Vienna for the 7th Consortium Meeting, hosted by Technische Universität Wien.

The meeting opened with welcome remarks from the project coordinator, HUS Helsingin yliopistollinen sairaala, and our hosts in Vienna, followed by two days of intensive scientific exchange and project discussions.

🧬 Day 1 focused on updates from WP1, WP2, and WP4, covering topics from population cohorts and gut permeability to novel approaches targeting the gut–joint axis. The Ethical and Clinical Boards also met to discuss ongoing compliance and clinical relevance across the project activities. The day concluded with a traditional Viennese dinner and valuable exchanges between partners 🍽️

🧠 Day 2 continued with the General Assembly and updates from WP3 and WP5, including discussions on systemic inflammation, osteoarthritis mechanisms, data integration, and AI-supported modelling approaches. The meeting closed with a joint conclusion session reflecting on progress and the final phase of the project.
